For the record, out of all the people that I know who own ACVWs None of them listen to The Dead. Most hate The Dead and mostly listen to hip hop or hard rock n roll like metal or hardcore.

I listen to the Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, Hot Tuna, Gov't Mule, Little Feat, Drive by Truckers,.......I'm sure I'm not the only bus pilot with this taste in non cRAP type music.  |

Im sure there are plenty of folks out there who think the music you like is crap to. There's no need to shit on peoples personal preference when it comes to music. The great thing about music is that there's a million styles out there, so you can more easily track down something that makes you groove.
There are some days I prefer dark German Techno, and others i'll be listening to my Wait Wait Don't Tell Me NPR podcast or Finnish ambient producer Vladislav Delay. That's when im not listening to Bad Religion, Dag Nasty, ALL, Fugazi, 7 Seconds. Don't limit yourself to one genre, there's too much interesting shit out there. |

I got a partial California personalized license plate: "?EDYLLGO".
It's funny, sometimes the license plate is blurred out, but at other times it's not. Its like the person who was editing the video was distracted, or couldn't focus on a task, or was just otherwise zoning out. I am beginning to think there is a slight possibility they were high.

What is this facebook you speak of? I was really just curious if anyone knew who's bus it was. I am not here to judge the type of music they make or anything. Hell everyone has to make a living. I wouldn't mind having their bank accounts.
I listen to a lot of different types of music. Favorite band being modest mouse but I listen to the dead, fugazi is a great one (waiting room is one of my top songs of all time) andrew jackson jihad, blah blah music blah blah... and sometimes I listen to rap. So sue me.  I just thought it was interesting that an aircooled made it into the spotlight as the vehicle that a rapper would showcase in a video. |

Chris, you are correct and I'll apologize. Ieeze be sorreee. I remember when rap lyrics were non offensive. I did not like the style. Then "gangsta rap" came out and musicians were killing each other. Much (not all) evolved into degrading women and enforcing stereo types. I would not want my kids to listen to some of the stuff that Frank has recorded. But that Wiz song is very offensive/stupid and has nothing to do with the bus life style as I knew it. Looks like I gotta research "Rollin 24s on a Bay." Yo! Peace out. |
