my '74 non-deluxe Campmobile doesn't have those guides in place but saying that, it didn't have the cab table originally fitted either, I retrofitted it myself so why would it have those guides? Wink

Thats a 75 only part as the table was only on 75 as well. Making the guide rail deal a one year only part. Im on the fence as to ad it to my 74. Its not "correct" for it, but then again the miss really wants the front table anyway - so why not go the extra mile and ad the guides so I can put it between the cabs.

Stuart, its kind hard to get a pic when the bus looked like this Friday Laughing

Here are the bunggies I have.

Of course you would have to cut one end and use the original mounting piece, but I think these would look pretty good.

Here is the PN listing.

Funny - the footman loop has a part number of 231-070-256 - if you look at part #2 (middle left) on this parts fiche for the 2011 VW Campmobile, that same part number is a, you guessed it, footman loop...

Now, for those not in the know, like me Very Happy if the dash-mounted loop is a 'footman loop', what does that mean the part on the table that attaches to the loop is called?

Also, for us non-Westy owners who are thinking about making a copy (doesn't have to be an original, as I'm cheap on some things Very Happy ), what are the dimensions of the table and the leg?[/url]

I think in some buses, that table did not come with hooks or a leg. It goes in the middle of the walkthrough but doubles as a sink cover when not being used.

According to this 1978 brochure for the Helsinki, the front table was also the sink cover.
