I know there are several posts on disk brakes etc. I checked images without any success.
I would like to see if any one has some various installation photos of ac industries disk brakes and brackets being installed.
Thanks in advance |

Joe and Locky
Thanks for pics.
I dug both your build threads.
Joe, your pic was exactly I was looking for. just the bracket mounted on spindle.
to address your question Locky on installation (you have some of inside story from swapping messages)
raised spindle issue. Finally after 8 months and haggling back and forth, I have them and started to check them out along with ac disk brake kit. I was told when I first started chasing raised spindles that any after market kit would work with the spindles.
well wrong......and should have expected after all the issues just getting spindles made etc.
The caliper mount will not mount without some clearance work on the spindle body and extension plates. the good thing is there is plenty of "meat" and only small notch. just aggravating. I do not foresee any issue with making clearance notch to accommodate the caliper.
I wanted a good clear pic to compare caliper mounting hole locations to make sure spindle was not "clocked" on spindle body when it was welded back to lifted plate.
will get some pics when get further down the road. doing test fit before disassemble a driving ride. I have some time off next week. maybe I can finish a couple honey do's and get in the garage
Thanks for photos/help |
