1835cc engines suck. But I must be really stooooopid because that's what I've driven since 1976. And in Arizona heat. And with dealer-added AC.
And it was really fun to drive it to a restaurant Friday night, and to Home Depot, Walmart, and Ace this morning. Lots of power, fine around town or on highways, even in extended 115F heat across the desert to California. And back..
So if your case and heads are already set up, just go 1835 or go 1776. And have fun. _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each.
