Does anyone have some pictures of how the tube frame is on the Manx soft top. I have a nos top that came with side curtains with one of my buggies and it matches up to exactly to my Manx II , So I need to have the tube frame made.
Here are some pictures in a moment.
thanks Marc.
Not sure if if its a real Manx top were their several manufactures? I know some had rear side windows. It has the spike receptacle and you press it over; the side curtains zip on the top to the top ,and has snaps to the body on the inside.

So again the white top came with my emerald Manx and was never installed.
There are no snaps screwed into the green Manx , it just came with the top.
It even has the brown paper in between the windows.
So I saw the snaps on my yellow Manx and they Match up perfect even the inside snaps.
That's why I am wondering if this is a factory Manx top?

Here are a couple of pics of mine. The dimensions are as follows:

17.5x43x17.5 and 23.5x43x23.5

The 23 one goes to the rear and the 17 to the front. It adjusts for fit. The rear bow is inside a sleeve and there is a strap that keeps the bows from spreading too much.

LMK if you need more information

The Manx top would have had three windows in the rear. If I had the buggy here I could make a frame for you.

Thanks Guys ! Were there several manufactures that made variations of the top or did Manx tops always have a three rear window?

Mine has the three windows, but I really dont know who all made them. This was the one that came with my buggy. Just had the bindings and snaps redone. The lady did a great job, IMHO.

This picture shows top bows for an original style top as seen in the original Manx catalog. This configuration hides bows when using this style 3 window top from being seen from the outside. Note straps between loops to keep the top tension tight so it does not flap at speed. The velcro strip around perimeter of body holds the top on without any snaps showing (not original).

Picture of original style top. No blind spots when driving. No snaps showing.

Picture from original Manx catalog. Price approx. $127.00 or so with side curtains, top bows, and all fasteners.

There was a few companies that made tops for buggies. The top in the Manx catalog is what I consider the original.

Marc
Mine was definitely not a Manx top. It was original to the build in 1968 but not from Meyers Manx. The bow system is just like this.

Yours uses a "lift the dot" fastener which I think is sturdier than the snap set up. You also have the holes for the bow bases in the body. You may want to contact the seller and see if they have the bows laying around.

The way the frame work is designed looks just like the frame on my Jeep YJ for use with the "family cage". I think I will have to see how close it is to fit my buggy because I really want a full top for it.
