Got something you wanna fix on your own car? need an extra set of hands? can you get the car to my house? if you answered yes to any of these three, you may qualify for the party list.
come over to my place, tuesday night this and next week for a wrenching party! (trademarked by the SST) lets hang out, eat food, drink some drinks, and fix some dubs!
7423 179th street sw edmonds wa 98026
4:30 pm on, no noise after 10pm (we live in the city )
space is limited, so lets make sure we use all of it that we can.
https://www.facebook.com/events/230116580487388/
call me for short notice directions etc:
206 841 7324
and why is this in the bay forum only?
thats all i usually work on, so i want to make sure the bay window users know about it. splits, and vanagons are welcome too....though i may be of less help _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

Thanks Stuart! Great idea, and a very generous offer! If we were a bit closer, we'd be all over it. We just got our 78 Riviera, and I'll be driving her home over the next few days, so we'll see what kind if trouble we have - on a learning curve here, so I really love your idea. _________________ 89 Westy "GoGo"

you sir, are more than welcome to join. every VW is a VW, thats all i care about. all i am saying is i specialize in bays, so i may not be as effectively helpful or have the spare parts laying around. please come join in!
as for details, i will let joe, the owner of the bus, let everyone know what happened. we are still figuring it out. we should know by today though. _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

Sounds like fun actually... Our local club gets together for a tech sesh' when someone is in too deep or needs some extra hands. I'd swing by and rep the BPA if I were closer.
I'm betting Stuart lit something else on fire! _________________ Mike

Did the "for sale" sign in front of your house go up before or after you hosted the "wrenching party"? _________________ Darryl

What happens when the house sells? Can you work a clause into the sale agreement that busses are always allowed on the premises - especially in the garage?
I should be ready to throw my engine back in a month or so. Maybe for that week, we can have it at my house.
Or, since Notchboy lives pretty close, maybe we will just have a south end bash.
So, I'm dying here . . . fire? explosion? ran over a small critter? you turned a bay into a split? Does everyone have all their fingers and toes? _________________ '78 Deluxe Westy - Loose Lucy (where I rest peacefully)

one of the engines developed an issue that had to be properly diagnosed. when it comes time to release that information, the owner said he will...but not until hes got it fixed. doesnt want a bunch of suggestions, would rather just fix it.
south end is on the list for sure. jason needs to step up his game, he has the biggest garage and space to go to at the moment...when the house sells (maybe next year) we are moving to a bigger space, smaller house, larger garage etc...then parties will happen there _________________ Stuart Zickefoose
