Chipping away at it....
I got some relays and a distribution block from a s10 and got them mounted. I also got the fuse box mounted. I'm going to go LED on the parking, signal, brake, and reverse lights. I ran an 8g wire from the battery to the front to power any accessories. Also got all the brakes on, I'm just waiting buy longer rear brake hoses to get it filled up and bled. Got some 15x7s for the rear.

I've been working on wiring and lights lately. I have all my LEDs made up, I need to get them mounted and finished. I got a bunch of stuff for Christmas for the car. Bought an intercooler and oil cooler, and a turbo. A TD04 from a Subaru Legacy. Got a few pics of it.
Filled the hazard hole on accident lol, so I had to move them around and make a trim piece to cover the holes
Cal look seal

I got my speedo and tach mounted. I really am not happy with the tach, it's not a dash mount, and it was about 1mm too small to fill the hole. I made a trim ring out of 4" pvc, but it looks bad. The gauge is way too thick and the ring makes it even worse. I might get a stock clock to throw in there and mount the gauge somewhere else. Any opinions?

Yeah its got to go I think. I dont think It would look ok mounted on the top of the dash. Im thinking of mounting it under the radio and getting a stock clock. |

Those gauges fit in the stock holes? What kind of pedals are those? |

Will any Porsche gauges drop in to the stock holes in the dash? |

I don't know if gauges required shimming or enlarging of holes - found photo online. I've been looking at Porsche 911/914 factory gauges.
Pedal pads were likely sourced through someone like Pegasus -

As far as the tach goes, pick up a year-correct clock, non-working, and send it off to North Hollywood Speedometer to be converted into a tach. They did mine, made sure the gas gauge worked, and it installed beautifully. |

NHS charges ~$450.00 plus your gauge to be converted to Tachometer -

I'll second the clock conversion; I just got mine back last week from North Hollywood Speedometer and they did a fantastic job. It's not inexpensive (the $450 is accurate, at least for early Ghia 6v) but there's no second-guessing the quality. It looks like a factory-produced item.
Best photos I have available:

Man those gauges are sharp. $450 might be a little more than I want to swing for one, but I am going to keep it in mind. I have plenty of time before I will need a tach.
I contacted a gentleman on a msextra about some issues I was having with my ford 2.3, and after we exchanged a few emails he told me he hasnt used his ms2 in years and offered it to me for the cost of shipping. I couldnt pass that up, I recieved it yesterday.
I need to decide on tires, I think I am going to run a 195/50 or a 195/55. Id love to put a 205 under it, but I really dont want to worry about rubbing. |

Bringing this back from the dead. I'm going to start getting everything wrapped up that I can that won't cost anything.
I put some firebird mirrors on it and I think they look good.

1970 to 1981 Firebird & Camaro mirrors - some came with cable operated mirror glass adjuster
