Now I get the fact that (1) it wasn't the thief's car, (2) didn't "care" about it, and (3) by deduction, not a rocket scientist....
...but how the hell does somebody damage a car and run the battery down in just a couple of days? I could see it if a person were intentionally trying to break crap, but I don't get how somebody who wanted it enough to steal it in the first place can be such a bumbler that they leave stuff broken in their wake. _________________ previous:

That'd be me the teacher with the worst reading comprehension in the school! But, I didn't mix up Vancouver, WA. I somehow mixed up Albany, OR w/ Albany, Saskatchewan. LOL Thought it very strange they'd stolen a Vanagon in Sask and driven it all the way to Seattle.
Now you know why I ask so many dumb questions, I'm a true blond and very visual.

The answers to the above questions are:
1. Drugs
2. Drugs
and,
3. Stupidity, or, lack of concern/ignorance, combined with Drugs.
By the way, I'm not overly moralistic about drug use. But car thieves who beg for change in parking lots are likely to be drug users who need a place to shoot up and sleep. Which is why a van with a bed is so attractive. _________________ 1990 GL 7-passenger
