planning to travel soon in the Vanagon and move to the high desert

I'm happy to read this news. And I'm happy you decided to keep your van. Everyone I know thinks I'm totally nuts for buying one. Its old, it needs a lot of work, etc etc. But just the few trips I've taken with it so far, also to escape my humdrum city life, have proven to me that I've made the right decision.

this is tuttle creek campground, located west of lone pine (highway 395 in eastern CA).
