planning to travel soon in the Vanagon and move to the high desert

I'm happy to read this news. And I'm happy you decided to keep your van. Everyone I know thinks I'm totally nuts for buying one. Its old, it needs a lot of work, etc etc. But just the few trips I've taken with it so far, also to escape my humdrum city life, have proven to me that I've made the right decision.

yep, that's me right now - drinking coffee and dreaming of getting out of the city someday. the company i work for is planning on opening a store in hood river and bend within the next few years, if i can make it that long...
