I didn't think the wide five replica Fuchs was that popular, but the demand must be there.

These or a style of these wide 5 "Fuchs" were made by Eagle Alloys way back.. I remember them in the 80's and early 90's catalogs.. The style was dropped due to low sales..
I've always digged them.... and have tried to pick up a clean set for some time now..
The freakin' hoarders have asked pretty pennies for them in recent years,....
See ya suckers...
Thats what they get..

I'll probably buy a set of the newer ones... in the 5.5 version..
Im also interested if anyone purchases ..... post quality and issues.
The 4 inch back spacing for the 5.5's is my main concern.. I figure its probably much better than the typical 3.5..

I bought a set of 15 x 5 1/2 for my sons 66. The car is still in the body work stage so there are no pics yet. Just needed to get them to get suspension figured out. They appear to be of equal quality to the 17" brm's I got from them. Time will tell, but look look good out of box.

A buddy of mine had these on his car back in the 80's. They looked like crap. As far as being different. They look like the Fuchs everyone else is running, but to each there own. On his car, they looked like cheap knockoff Porsche wheels.

I like em'.. probably cause nobody else seems too... Wink

Wide five 911 Fuchs style named them Foosh on the box label Laughing
JBW stamped and seem to originate from Midland Wheels

These are the 4.5 width version
ET 20 and a backspace of 3 5/8 (3.5)

JBW brand (also found at Midland Wheels (MWS)

Polish is decent, overall quality seems good.
Ball seat lugs.

Says everyone in the world as they buy a set saturating the car shows. And to think, I was novel when I dug up a set and refinished them ten years ago for my bay. Ah well. Ill keep hold of mine. Glad to have more options I suppose.

Id have to say... these fake Fuchs (Foosh) and the Eagle Alloy version of years past are love em' or hate em' wheels.

IMO.. they dont fit the typical mold..
When Vw owners want the Fuchs look.. they usually want it right.. with the small 5 bolt pattern.

It will be a few years before I will use mine.. by that time, they will either have flooded the market.. or gone the way of the Dodo..

They are not my favorites, but I will still use them... Think of course...... I also like Mooneyes "Speedmasters".. and you dont see them too often on the roads......

I will be putting them on my bus next week. Got a set of the chrome 15X5.5 from CIP1. I hope the caps work out, not sure with drums, but they say they fit.
Also doing drop spindles and horse shoe plated from oldspeed. I can't wait.

Very nice Cool Mine are all chrome, but I think I want to paint the centers like yours.
