Good that you added the rest for visual reference.
but...since this is the "New Fuchs" topic I was specifically requesting for wheel specs to be added.... The 4.5 wide or 5.5 wide. ???

Todd -
Reviving an old thread, but were these mounted on drums or discs? Did you have issues fitting the flat center caps on the fronts? Any dust cap clearance issues? I just picked up a set for my project and have seen there are clearance issues with the dust caps and wondered how you got them to fit. Sharp looking bug for sure! _________________ .

What year drums are you running. It is not well known, but there are 2 different wide 5 rear drums used between '58 and '67. The '65-'67 drums are 6mm wider than the older ones (VW says for tire chain clearance.) The older drums have a smooth center hub and the later type have 5 ridges out from the center in the hub.
On a similar note, oval window front brake drums are 7.5mm narrower than '58-'65 front drums. That could cause a fit issue for the center caps too. Rear oval drums are the same width as '58-'64 drums. _________________
