Sometimes need to fix parts of the roof, how to remove it?

Preheating the folded seam, to avoid cracking.

Open the folded seam by VW tool 734

Drill spotwelds at window frames:

Also rear

and it would be a good time to strip the surface rust and coat the inside metal.

But beside that question.
Spooky to see that area around the rear window.
You can restore your car as much as you want, that hollow space
will stay rusty.

I will post some pics of the tool later, and I can also make a tool if anyone needs one. And what after "go on" depends on the need, I need innersides of the roof and right rear quarter pieces.

great stuff Mika , that would be a good way to put in a three fold. this there a tool to roll the edge back together.
