Those of you with L-Jet (AFC) injected 1974 412s... I'm having a controversy with a supplier over a reman air flow meter I bought that my Bosch cross ref sez fits my car and their parts catalog says fits my car. Problem is, it has seven pins and the car takes six.
There's a seller on eBay showing the exact same part number in a new Bosch and the seller, when messaged, says his unit, which has the same P/N as the reman one does on the plastic top, is a six pin unit.
I'm thinking that the remanufacturer glued the wrong top on the wrong AFM. The supplier is telling with me that it should fit my car.
So- What are your AFM part numbers and number of pins?
Second question- were all 1974 L-Jet cars 1,8 engines?
Fun, fun, fun! _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

Mine is also a six pin.
Where is the part number located? Mine is missing the plastic cover. I looked all over it and didn't see a part number. |

Thanks for the info- the P/N is on the plastic cover.
Well, I was hoping for a bigger number of responses, but then, I realize this wasn't exactly a hot- selling car. I think the evidence is pretty conclusive that this should be a six pin unit. The one I got has a 0 280 200 001 part number on it, but is a seven pin unit... Obviously incorrect.
I'm going to contact the supplier and let them know there's a problem.
Thanks, group! _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.
