Barndoor Hinge

Hi.
I need the hinge for the barndoor. Gerson dont make the anymore.
New decklid is on its way but no hinge.
Can some of you piont me in the right direction.

you could use a hinge of a post 55 rear hatch ( upper lid) it is the same overall width (length) as a BD lid but teh width of the hinge, where it bolts to the upper hinge carrier is different and also the bolt holes would have to be redrilled, but you can make it fit with some work.

you could also drill the old hinge off the BD lid, but as it looks at the pics there is absolutely no need for replacing the lid, to my opinion, this will pop out and straghten easily with some talented body worker involved.

i would agree that that could be fixed; i believe the Kemp's kombi lid was way more dented in than that; looked pretty good after some work
