Calling Cameron in Australia - 666bug
Hi.
does anyone on here know Cam? (username 666bug). If so could they please pass on a message for me. I'm trying to get hold of him about a BD steering wheel that I bought over six months ago. Due to various "incidents" with the post office it was returned to him a couple of times and I've never received it and now he's stopped answering my calls and emails. He's alleged to be a stand up guy by other Australians that I know and I've no reason to doubt them so there must be a mix up somewhere :-/ I've PM'd him also as I see that he visits here regularly but no word yet :-/ :-/
He's a BD owner, he was getting it restored by Al at Dasrestos.
Someone must know him and be able to assist in sorting out the "muddle". He was a proper gent when we were corresponding, and I'm sure he must be as worried about us losing contact as I am.
Cheers guys.

Hi Ben ,
If your contact is having some issues sending it ask him to forward it to me in Brisbane and I can ensure that it gets put on a plane to the UK ..
Other than that we can organize to send the heavies round

Yeah I am surprised as Cameron is very easy to deal with and a stand up guy. I'm sure there's a valid explanation but I'll PM you his number to sort it out off the forum/s.

thanks for all your help Gents
Another friend in Australia has already given me his cell and I've rung it a few times over the last month or so and left messages but he hasn't replied to them. Or my emails from the last few months. Or my PM's. He seemed pretty sound when he first responded to my wanted ad on here so I was suprised when he stopped communicating, and worried that something had happened to him. I guess he's still out there if he's using this site which is good news: a) he's still alive. b) I might finally get my wheel. I've never been stung buying or selling through this site so I'm still assuming that I haven't been this time either.
Thanks again.

Now that is so cool! Nothing like getting help during something like this. Probably just a misunderstanding that will get sorted out. Good luck!! |

Thanks Al. I've sent you and Cam an email and would really appreciate your help, (hopefully to your correct email as I found it on line). He did email after this thread was started, but he has been quiet since. I hope his phone, banking, PayPal and computer haven't been hacked for another 6 months. That would be unlucky
I've asked him to get the wheel to you. Cheers dude, really very much appreciated. Speak soon.

Everett, could you possibly nudge Cam again since you're the only person who's managed to get him to respond so far. I'm sure his "phone, computer, banking and Paypal hackng issues" are long over and it'd be nice if he could get in touch with me or Al.
Thanks a lot,
Ben |

So thanks everyone for their help with this. Still no email response from Cam since November, but he has made a PayPal payment into my account. I assume this means I am not getting the steering wheel I paid for 8 months ago
His refund is nearly £100 short but I guess I should be grateful for getting something back. Do yourselves a favour and NEVER deal with this guy. If it wasn't for the help from a few guys on here I very much doubt I'd have even received what I have from him so thanks again - you know who you are. |
