metal push rod valve adjustent?

hey all im working on a 1970 baja totally custom and i read somewhere that if the pushrods are magnetic than i should set the valve lash to 004 ?
can anyone confirm or disconfirm ?

steel/chromoly pushrods (are magnetic) should be set to zero lash. Aluminum push rods are set to .004-.006
