Ordered a set of new all terrain tires for my syncro and just ordered a set of front axels/cvs from a local shop that I got a hell of a deal on.
I'm still debating if I want to order the Gowesty big brakes or do the audi conversion. I have to order a few other smaller items, but with the 15% off it's pretty tempting on those brakes and not have to screw with sourcing the parts or getting anything machined. |

Every Black Friday I buy all the oil I will need for the coming year at Pep Boys. They always have a squeakin' deal on from 6 - 11am.
Some years all I have to buy for the Westy is gas, oil & propane -- here's hoping 2014 will be such a year. |

Got some 10.8 Old School Boston Acoustics Pro Series sub woofers off eBay for the Carat retro system. Got a fuel pump bracket for the Carat from a Samba Seller and about to get a drivers side grill for the Carat. _________________ TP in the Pack (I am a cyclist)

My birthday was last week too, so I treated myself to some much needed/wanted parts.
4 big ones to bus depot for rubber mats, headlight upgrade kit, and a bunch of nickel and dime parts inside and out. Also ordered a universal sunroof kit to hack in over the front cabin. Should just about finish off the longest project build ever.
Ironically, the only black friday deal of everything was for some bumper stickers. Saved like a dollar, woohoo. _________________ -Elliot

I decided to hold off on the big brakes, instead I picked up a few other needed items. I bought the syncro gas tank reseal kit as well as the sender unit kit and a small assortment of minor items I needed.
My fuel gauge doesn't work and when checking out the sender unit wiring, I noticed a bit of gas leakage and decided I really need to fix that.
I think I'm just going to do the DIY audi big brake conversion as it's easier to source the replacement parts later on. |

A rebuilt VC, couple of locker actuators, two pairs of Hella H4s, and a 10x8 awning (one of those made popular by Vickery on another thread.) Lots of projects for 2014! |

i see your from OLY. I too am from washington. the army decided a good place to stick me was all the way across the US tucked away in this cold dark corner known as Fort Drum. I love it here in the summer, and the winter looks nice. But it is farrrrr too cold and the amount of salt put on the roads is crazy.
also... thank you for serving. |
