Word.
That has potential fer days
Instead of the stick holding the sides together I would've displayed it with maybe some chicken wire over the imaginary treasure chest hole. This would better demonstrate it as having some use as a chicken coop, or a dog house.
I have scrapped better candidates for this sort of conversion. If it wasn't so horribly done and missing huge chunks of real estate like that passenger corner then maybe....nah

I like the elegant way the gas filler tube is handled... sticking up above the bed plane, so he built a little diamond plate cage around it. Nice!

It's only metal. Nowadays, any Bus has potential. I'm actually contemplating a similar project, though my starting point would be a bit worse and a lot cheaper. _________________ I've never met a Bus I didn't like.

judging by the photo, it's already at the junk yard so it's only a forklift ride away from being finished _________________

Thats what happens up here in northern california. Down the street from me there is a guy who cuts perfectly good running buses that are his daily drivers into single cabs with a few sawzall blades on an afternoon. He still does this even today even though buses have become so "rare" . After he cuts the back off of a bus he cuts a piece of plywood and sprays that foam in a can around it to make a "cab divider" and calls it a day. _________________ 1966 Velvet Green Standard |

I don't know what's worse, hearing that or hearing about a guy down south of me who got pissed off at people falling through with deals on a Thing. So he took a forklift and crushed it. _________________ Wash your hands

I think I'd rather stick my head in the oven than pay for a project that went completely wrong. Maybe a Yugo would be preferable!? |

I expect a Yugo would be more valuable. _________________ John

Don't you be talkin' smack about George!
To further wind folks up, he does it to 1971 Buses exclusively. _________________ 2000 M Roadster

Not really talking smack, I dont think buses are rare and if he wants to chop them up then he can do what ever he wants....they are his buses. That is false, his recent creation is a 71 but the previous "single cab" was a 72. _________________ 1966 Velvet Green Standard |

That explains it all right there. If it didn't have Bus Boys, Wolfgang, and the closest In-N-Out to Portland I'd say nuke that place from orbit.
Why yes, I *have* spent more than a few weeks of my life in that miserable shithole of a town .. what clued you in? |

I can't remember where I saw it, a bus made into a double cab, professionally done from a savaged bus. Good try, but I'd rather have the real McCoy. |
