Thanks, John!
I always wanted a picture of your beautiful Karmann Ghia parked artfully in front of some picturesque European backdrop, but dared not hope that I would ever live long enough to see one.

Wink

Happy Christmas to you too!

Not to mention the great big-life-sized lawn ornament/statue you have there! Most folks are just happy with a lawn gnome or something!

Very Happy

Come on where are YOUR pictures? In my defense we're now back in the small house for the winter...saves on heating bills and the servants are sent home for Christmas. Wink

BTW I haven't seen Robert Plant in person since 1970. Laughing

I saw Robert a couple years ago on his Band of Joy tour. The opening act was unforgivable and the Band of Joy was disappointing. I have tried to purge that night from my mind as Zepp is my favorite band EVER

Shocked I just realized that you were the chap that played the first Doctor Who on the tele!

Well that certainly explains a few things. Smile
Nobody could make such an old car look so fresh and new without the use of a sonic screwdriver ... nor could they transport that car to so many picturesque places without the use of a TARDIS.

May I have your autograph, please?

... preferably on a blank check (cheque?).

You need to get up to speed on this...here's a post from the recent "Off Topic" Dr. Who 50th Anniversary thread: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6954770#6954770

Embarassed I was away from The Samba for quite a few years, and now typically just look at the Ghia forum, the Classifieds, and of course the technical resources.
Not that I'm accomplishing much now, but if I took the time to read all the other interesting forums and such on here I'd never get anything else done at all. Smile
