Thanks, John!
I always wanted a picture of your beautiful Karmann Ghia parked artfully in front of some picturesque European backdrop, but dared not hope that I would ever live long enough to see one.
Happy Christmas to you too! |

Not to mention the great big-life-sized lawn ornament/statue you have there! Most folks are just happy with a lawn gnome or something!

I saw Robert a couple years ago on his Band of Joy tour. The opening act was unforgivable and the Band of Joy was disappointing. I have tried to purge that night from my mind as Zepp is my favorite band EVER |

I just realized that you were the chap that played the first Doctor Who on the tele!
Well that certainly explains a few things.
Nobody could make such an old car look so fresh and new without the use of a sonic screwdriver ... nor could they transport that car to so many picturesque places without the use of a TARDIS.
May I have your autograph, please?
... preferably on a blank check (cheque?). |

I was away from The Samba for quite a few years, and now typically just look at the Ghia forum, the Classifieds, and of course the technical resources.
Not that I'm accomplishing much now, but if I took the time to read all the other interesting forums and such on here I'd never get anything else done at all. |
