I found this shifter on Saturday in my friends basement underneath a bunch of engine tin. He is an old school vw drag racer and said he got the shifter in a bug in the late 70's and that's all he knows. Im big into shifters and this one has me stumped. I will clean it up and take more pics. I know the plastic base is off a Superior. Any info would be awesome!

The shifter looks cool, but that handle is terrible _________________ "In order to create, you have to destroy." |

Heres a few more pics. I held it up against a spark-o-matic shifter as I thought it might be "customized" shifter but they are different.

Ok so along with finding another identical shifter to this to confirm it wasn’t a home made shifter I finally looked in my catalogs and have definite proof it’s a Scat shifter. Thanks for the help ! P.s. Jake Martínez, shoulda listened to you the whole time😆
