Yeah, bummer about the timing, but on the positive side, you probably knew you were going to have to deal with the engine sat some point, and you have done a lot of the other needed work. Long term you still have a great adventure vehicle.

I may have been my own worst enemy.
I knew the main was leaking so when the oil light came on, I pulled over and dumped a quart in. I didn't realize that the light was oil pressure only. Embarassed
It was fine untiI pulled a big hill and I assume all the extra oil dumped into the cylinders and flooded me out?
Either way. I drained a half quart out when i got home and after a few seconds the smoke stopped and it runs fine now.
After some research i discovered that the oil light may or may not have been accurate. I'm going to install a gauge and hope for the best.
And replace my main seal.
