Did you decorate your Westy for Christmas?
Are you going to spend Christmas in your Westy?
I am going to be finishing some work in my westy today.. so I can get out in it.. but.. sadly.. not camping in my westy.
Then, tomorrow, I am spending a majority of my day off IN my westy working on its replacement wood flooring.. sans texture treatment in favor of smooth coating.
I am seeking pictures of those around the world who may be spending Christmas in their westy! |

I will be doing the same as you. Working on it so it can be my escape pod to warmer climates this March. No VW Christmas decorations this year.
I did however decorate my motorcycle. Maybe I'll transfer the decoarations to the VW next year.
Edit- I just saw that you are in Redmond, WA. That is where I bought my other Ural from. Their world headquarters is in your town. Nice place. We flew out and rode it home. _________________ My 1987 Syncro Westy build:

Ah! Nice Bike! I like the décor!
Yea.. there's many places to go camping.. I finally printed many of my Westy pics of me camping in it.. tagged them to my walls.. and maintain a daily project scope control list.. of projects, supplies, and expected duration of each project I'm doing.. just to shorten the timeline.. |

Doing a rip to the coast the 27th with HansJ from Teh Utah. Cannot wait to get out and rip it up in the sand. _________________ Happiness=Portland, Oregon in the rearview mirror! |

We spent Christmas in the van a few years ago. Foothills in the snow, 4 kids, it was "magical". Led lights inside. Santa found us despite my best efforts. Will do it again. |

Yup, spending Christmas night somewhere on the road! Maybe a classy rest stop somewhere in Idaho or Oregon... _________________ 1986 Canadian Syncro Westy TDI - 1989 Syncro Single Cab - 2001 Audi S4 - 1981 VW Caddy ABA - 1980 VW Caddy EV - 1973 VW T-181 |
