I have the same experience, I am still looking for the woodruff key on my generator as I was assembling the pulley, its been missing for weeks, it will turn up when I am not expecting it, but how can it get lost in such a small garage ? _________________ -------------------

I'm so glad you posted this little story, because today I had to take my carb apart and two of the bolts fell on the driveway, I could only find one, I went ahead and put it all back together and on the car thinking I would see it with a fresh eyes....still couldn't find it, then I thought of this story and how I only heard one bolt clink on the pavement, so I looked in the cuff of my jeans and sure i enough there it was! As for the C clips... E clips are a suitable replacement.

For more than a year my wife has blamed me for losing her pearls. We always put our valuables away when we travel and she swore blind that she had handed them to me. Eventually I believed her. We turned the house and my garage upside down to no avail. Last week she found them in one of her shoes in her closet where she had hidden them.
As for Ghia parts: I've lost and found them all over the place. _________________ Festina lente - hasten slowly

That's great steph27,
I think you will be very happy with the supercharger setup.
Here's a little motivation to get that Judson fired up and running:

Nice resto that you are doing. I am also building myself a lizzard green early 1957 ghia. May I ask where you purchased the headliner? It looks really good. _________________ ----------(VW)----------

Another question...
How did your painter mask the C-pillar part that is under the quarter window and the chrome trim?
