Very nice. I'd like to figure out how to do it without hacking on the door. A couple of screw holes is to be expected, but I'd rather not cut that square hole...

I may have to do this on my four-door double cab.

So, where did you get this lock kit?

This was the best price on the door contact set by far:

I suppose it would be possible to set up some kind of cable pulley system to put the actuator at a right angle to the door lock, but that is more trouble than I wanted to go through. The door panel will cover it and I will soon forget about the hole even being there. The door is dented up badly on the outside and I have been pulling the dents out with my stud welder so it's not like it's perfect anyway.

You're welcome. If you are thinking about it, I highly, highly recommend it. It makes such a difference in the convenience factor of a bus.
