I have builted a 2 liter engine engine for my 57 kombi that is almost ready but still on the engine stand , I noticed yesterday that the brand new pushrods seals are already cracked ..They are red rubber style ,I don't think silicon . I have a fortune in this engine and I really don't want to deal with oil leaks .
I need to buy the best silicon seals available ..any suggestions
Thanks

The good ones are the white viton seals. Aircooled.Net sells these individually in sets of 16 so you don't have to buy a whole new gasket kit.
