I'm in need of jail bars for my 13 window. I have plenty of the end caps, but no bars (or braces, yet). What is the length of the rear seat piece? Is the rear seat piece a different diameter than the window bars? Going to search for some 10mm(?) round stock and polish it up...

From my shabby memory the bar above the rear seat is a different diameter than around the windows. Could measure later when I get home if you need it.

When you say rear seat piece, do you mean the rear window?

Then yes, it's the same diameter bar as the side windows.

If the mean the luggage bar on the back of the rear seat back, then no, that is larger.

Unfortunately I don't have a 13/21-Window Bus or piece here to measure the length of the rear window bar but you could estimate fairly easily by measuring between the mounting holes for the ends. Or screw the end caps in and measure the distance?

Yes, I meant the luggage bar. Thanks Everett.

I just measured my luggage bar diameter and it's approx. 19mm.

Another recent post with lengths:
