Hoping to make it out with my '66 Beetle but right now the weather is looking borderline sketchy for next Sunday. _________________ 66 Sedan L456 "Ramona" |

The Dutch Dubbers will be coming down. Bob will probably be bringing the Herbie.
Just get in your Thing & do your thang. It's not that far and the weather will be great. |

Let's make this show innovative. I've never seen this done. I would like everyone to take pics during the show of anything & everything: show cars, drags, swap and post to Facebook & instagram through out the day. Please be active doing this during the day & use the hashtags #junebugclassic #vwshow #maplegroveraceway |

before 8 for new part vendors
At 8 for swap & flea market
everyone goes thru the same paying gate, HOWEVER, there should be a line for swap & show. There will someone to give this direction after you enter the grounds ( gate 4 I think) |

Made it up for the show today. The weather was very good; warm enough but with a light breeze. I wasn't able to bring my '66 Beetle since I'm still finishing up a muffer install. Was hoping to see "Herman" from Eastern Shore but he was nowhere to be found.
It's been approx 25 years since the last time I saw VW drag racing and the first time my kids got to experience it (they loved it). Grabbed video from one of the early rounds:

I have some photos but apparently it's "against the rules" to upload photos of individual cars to the group show category in the Samba gallery; rather, the moderators want you to upload them to their respective model category. As such, I'm not going to bother uploading them at this time. _________________ 66 Sedan L456 "Ramona" |
