Help! I thought I remembered this being simple — like you'd just slide it all the way forward, and keep going and it would slide off the rails. But it's not doing that. Maybe my other one was broken, to allow that to happen?
Anyway, I need to get them out in order to peel out that floor mat stuff that seems to be holding moisture, rip it out, and fix the floor as necessary.
It must just be "forward, lift up, jiggle to the right" or something – but I can't seem to find the trick. I swear, that '72 they'd just slide right off. Huh. |

Recommend checking your owner’s manual (if you have one) — e.g.:

What year? the 73 is different then the 72 or a 65 for example. Probably the tab stop is what your issue is. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.
Numbers Matching VW's are getting harder to find. Source out the most Stock vehicle and keep that way. You will be glad you did.
