i have a set of arms off a 68 or 69 bus (short shock stud). i want to put my ball joints together and have them ready to roll for when the bus comes back to me.
other than the short shock stud, they will fit an all the beams (68 to 79) correct?
just don't want to press them in to arms that only work on a bus that i don't own. i am pretty sure that they all interchange, it's just the shock stud is shorter.
most of the shocks i see are universal and have a bunch of spacers anyway _________________

I put a 76 westy sway bar on a early 69, fit perfectly in the holes etc., that's all I got. _________________ 1971 Deluxe Sunroof Bay 1905 stroker, dual idf40's, 74mm Scat forged crank, engle 110 cam. CB 044 heads, AutoCraft rockers, chromoly push rods

I waned to install Koni shocks on the front in a 1968 bus. Like you say the shock studs were too short. I installed a set of newer torsion arms with the longer stud and it all worked out perfectly.

Well, it drove freaking awesome. Koni's, hankooks, sway bar, all combined make that bus corner like its on rails _________________ Lead Mechanic: San Diego Air and Space Museum

Gotta love the search. Found my answer here. While rebuilding my '69 beam I found two questionable arms, good thing I have a '77 beam laying around. Hope those arms are good. |
