Road trip category?

I have been on the samba for a little over a year (I think) and have noticed that people like to share their roadtrips that they take in their VW. It seems like people (especially in the bus forums) post their road trips/camping trips pretty frequently. So I was thinking it would be cool to maybe have a category specifically about road trips. It would be a good area to ask questions about how to prepare for your roadtrip in your VW, what tools to bring, cool places to go, etc... This would also be a cool way for people to log their trips.

Don't know how a category like this would work out but I thought I might share the idea. Let me know what you think!

...and I concur.

Currently, those of us who do roadtrips or camp in our Westfalias are shunted off as an afterthought onto the "Shows" section.

Therein lies lotsa shows, but nothing about roadtrips, travel, camping and the like.

I'll admit that I do go to shows a bit, but many others do not; they use their VW buses to actually go places, camp and do things. Lotsa people never ever go to shows.

I wish that travelers and campers had a real place to post.

I believe people post these things in the category for the vehicle they own right now. Mostly Buses so Split Bus/Bay Window/Vanagon/Eurovan/etc.
