Are there any special procedures for installing a new throttle cable? Engine is out of the car so I figured this would be a good time. |

Make sure you get the right one for your carb/linkage setup. The length for the stock induction/year combination is great, but if you do something like dual Webers, you'll need to get creative. I found that a Super Beetle throttle cable was the perfect length and had the benefit of the extra grip provided by the threaded end for the IDF linkage in my '57 Ghia. Way better than the extension that kept coming loose. _________________ Jason Hopper
