OK, super cool, 2yrs and you found it...nice job thanks for the update.
not being a dick here
..but
I would seriously consider upgrading to LEDs and lexan shades.
My interior lights are all LED now
no regrets..lots of benefits |

I'm hoping this isn't too far on a tangent, but I have a question about the square thermometer, and the bulb socket shown inside the light shade.
In my '78 Westy, the original owner left behind a square thermometer similar to the one pictured by Tcash, as well as a little bulb socket, also similar to the one behind the light shade pictured by Tcash. Anyone have any info on these parts? Are they in anyway notable or special?

I'm in the process of working with a local 3-D printer to create lamp shades for these fixtures in the Adventurewagen but am also considering buying new fixtures - https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Lighting/Gustafson-Lig...gKAC_D_BwE
These look like they would be a near match as a replacement. |

I know this is an old thread, but anyone that has an Adventurewagen has no doubt been frustrated trying to find a replacement for these, as most of them have gotten brittle and have broken by now. I found a good alternative shade available at Vintage Trailer supply. Reasonable price too. https://vintagetrailersupply.com/clip-on-shade-for-wall-sconce-vts-100/
