Tell me your gonna clean that carb up....haha
Progressive carbs work okay. Easier to tune then duels, but can ice up.
Not a huge fan of the blue, the the silver at least helps tone it down a bit. It just seems bright to me. _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

I run stock wheels.
I vote stock or BRM replicas....bout 110 a wheel. Black with silver or black with blue. Photoshop time? _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

If your going for street look, hankook ra08, 195r14, or 185r14(skinnier)
For a rugged look, bfg a/t in a 195/75r14.
I like stock.
What about a white engine with silver accents? Itd match its area better....just a thought. _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

Sorry...its been a busy week for me...
Stock rims and hankooks? Good combo. Silver rims pop well with them. _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

When you get them mounted, get metal valve stems. Two reasons:
Ra08 have a max psi of 65, and rubber stems have a max of 60. Metal can run 100+. With towing, max psi is key for support abd stability. Want to limit your tires by your valve stems? When towing, id highly recommend max psi rears and trailer, and drop 8-10 in front.
Also, point 2, metal last longer and look better. Also easier to fill up. Bit of a dirty comparison but its kinda like sex....rubber isnt quite hard, metal is stiff. Which ones gonna be easier to use/fill?
Did i make my point before you did the work this time?

Nice analogy, I mounted and balanced some of the tires today. I still need to paint two of the wheels. It has gotten cold here lately and it makes for a more difficult time to paint. I have found that I am in a special spot now. I need about another $1500 worth of parts to complete this ride but Christmas is coming soon. I am trying to balance gift giving and bus giving. What a pickle this is. _________________ Current Build 1976 VW Bus Subaru with EZ36 https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=9443081#9443081
