Blue, silver, and some black. I will assemble it tomorrow and shoot up some shots. Also keep in mind that the engine compartment is in the white

I got pretty far tonight on the assembly of my motor, I will need to rebuild this carb prior to installation. Anyone have some info on it. It is made by weber in Spain and from the stamping it is a 32/36 body. My question is have you all had some luck with said carburetor? by the way this was off another engine I had.

Tell me your gonna clean that carb up....haha

Progressive carbs work okay. Easier to tune then duels, but can ice up.

Not a huge fan of the blue, the the silver at least helps tone it down a bit. It just seems bright to me.

Im hoping with the white paint on the compartment it will balance out. What type of wheels are you running? I am stuck on tires and wheels for this build.

I run stock wheels.

I vote stock or BRM replicas....bout 110 a wheel. Black with silver or black with blue. Photoshop time? Wink

What about your tires. I think that in an effort to keep in budget I have 8 stock rims that I can finish. Do you recommend a particular tire?

If your going for street look, hankook ra08, 195r14, or 185r14(skinnier)

For a rugged look, bfg a/t in a 195/75r14.

I like stock.

What about a white engine with silver accents? Itd match its area better....just a thought.

Sorry...its been a busy week for me...Laughing

Stock rims and hankooks? Good combo. Silver rims pop well with them.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I give thanks for the ability and time to work on my bus. For that I am thankful.
Today I prepped and painted the upper dash and three of the five wheels I also installed the dash and put some of the gauges and technology in. Have a great night.

When you get them mounted, get metal valve stems. Two reasons:

Ra08 have a max psi of 65, and rubber stems have a max of 60. Metal can run 100+. With towing, max psi is key for support abd stability. Want to limit your tires by your valve stems? When towing, id highly recommend max psi rears and trailer, and drop 8-10 in front.

Also, point 2, metal last longer and look better. Also easier to fill up. Bit of a dirty comparison but its kinda like sex....rubber isnt quite hard, metal is stiff. Which ones gonna be easier to use/fill?

Did i make my point before you did the work this time?

Nice analogy, I mounted and balanced some of the tires today. I still need to paint two of the wheels. It has gotten cold here lately and it makes for a more difficult time to paint. I have found that I am in a special spot now. I need about another $1500 worth of parts to complete this ride but Christmas is coming soon. I am trying to balance gift giving and bus giving. What a pickle this is.

The last of the paint has been completed for the most part. I am sure there will be a few more bits and pieces. I hung most of the doors and basically putting parts on to clear up the garage. I also picked up a pair of Weber 40 IDF's, I am excited to put those baby's on. I also installed the engine
