Time it at 28 degrees BTDC at 3500 rpms with any hoses on the dizzy off and plugged. Idle timing will fall where it needs to be then you can fix any idle problems with the adjustments on the carbs.

Awesome, thanks. I will set the timing at 28deg. I found that even though I did the flow meter on the carbs my air fuel mixture is off a bit because my drivers side exhaust is running hotter than the passenger side.

I installed the new wagenswest 3.5 in drop plates yesterday. Tomorrow I will install the new front lowered beam. I am so happy with how low the rear is. It is getting there.

Hi Stuart, good to here from you. Yes, single carb for me. I own a pair of 40 IDFs but prefer a single because this is a family cruiser so I need as high a reliability as I can get. Have a great day.

Tonight I tackled the stainless steel panels. After I learned some from the first one the rest went on very smoothly. Enjoy the picks

tonight was all about the top of the trailer. The raised area is were the radio speakers and charging ports go. I will be installing a stainless steel plate in the back and use it for food prep and grilling. I still need to install the leg ports and prep it for painting

oh the end is near. I need to give props out to Blast Services here in Clearwater FL. Todd, I appreciate the quick turn around and awesome work media blasting on this project. Just wait to see the rear bumper guys. I used the old westy one but I removed about 16 inches from the middle. I looks awesome. I still need to do some hammering on it but it will be ready for paint soon. Are any of you guys going to the Pasco County Bug Jam this weekend? I will be there with the finished bus and trailer. Here are some shots of the progress.
