Both the Mogs made it out tonight, we had green lights the whole way until Newberg.

For those taking the 99W route through Newberg, they are repaving and cutting the lanes down to one with a flagger. We were stuck there for 20 min.

I would suggest the I-5 route to Brooks, then take the Wheatland ferry, follow the signs for Amity, then Sheridan. You'll skip all the road construction, and Dundee traffic.

See you guys there!

Eric

Eric,
Any chance you got a photo of both of your Mogs on the car ferry at the same time? That would be pretty cool.

Has anyone tried this route? I'm thinking about going this way.

I've driven that route although not to Mogfest. It is a pretty good way to go, but after you turn left on Spring Hill Road you can travel south a ways and then bounce over to Highway 47 for the rest of the way. Flett Road I think. That might be a bit faster and just as nice.

When you are on the very curvy part of Laurelwood Road, think of the poor surveyor fools who had to mark every point of curvature of that road. Laughing

We went the Dundee route...

Last year we took the 20,000lb 419 on the ferry, they had a hard time getting the ferry off the ramp.

I spared them this year.

Hey, don't forget to donate a few things to the raffle, it's fun, and it's a great way to get rid of some of those items gathering dust in your shed or garage.

I'm sure Jim & Em will thank you!

We are away to Portland this weekend in our Syncro and I only just saw this thread about Mogfest! Shocked

I just filled out the form to register, I can't see any info on costs? Or what we need to bring? We'll be fully loaded for camping anyway...

It isn't a pay to play event. There are some fundraising meals offered and a raffle that you can buy tickets for that is also a fundraiser. I recommend attending them as the food is good and so are the people.
Bring sunscreen and some shorts to hang out at the river at the end of the property.
You will have a great time, lots of cool people attend the event.
Have fun.

I wish that I was going. d'oh!

Great stuff, thanks for the info. Had I realised it was on I would have planned on being there for the whole duration, it sounds (and looks) awesome.

Cheers

Sheesh, we'll be passing right by there along I-5 on saturday, and even driving a German 4x4, but no time to spare. Shame too, 'cause I know the kids would love to see vans in action
