I've got a pair of each that need to be gone through. I wanted to hear some opinions on which set I should spend my time on. Both throttle shafts feel good. No play and travel is smooth through range of motion. I haven't done a thing to them so I don't know how they are jetted or what really is going on inside at all.

These are going on a 1776 DP. Stock heads. Engle 110 cam. Stock flywheel and German clutch. Pushing a lowered bus with a straight axle.

Thanks all for the help, NAES

Do your Italian ones have vacuum ports? Mine didn't. If you are going to use an SVDA, the Spanish ones should have vacuum ports.

I'll second the vacuum port carbs. I bought an aircooled.net SVDA that was set up for dual Webers (I have HPMX) and the combo is excellent for driveability.

Cool. Thanks guys. not looking like either has vac ports so I'll be taking them completely apart and seeing what I'm working with and go from there.
