Yes Sir, missing one Red taillight lens, you wouldn't happen to have one, would you? _________________ I'd be UNSTOPPABLE if not for Law Enforcement and PHYSICS.
I recycle old cars and parts, other than when I rot, that's as Green as I am going to get.
Thanks to my Tesla driving neighbors, I feel more relaxed driving my SUBURBAN and old VW's.

For my '63 type 34 , I have two very nice ashtrays. I know 356 Porsches share the same part. But which one is correct for my car?

The 356 part is different. The part the ash tray slides on has a differently shaped face along the upper edge. The 356 ash tray itself is also missing the spring loaded metal flap that protects the Type 34's lower padded dash from hot cigarette/cigar ash.
Having said that--and since all of my Type 34 ash trays were badly rusted--I did buy a reproduction 356 ash tray and use reconditioned Type 34 parts to properly convert it.
The ash tray pictured on the right is the same as the two I have from '64 model year cars. |

Might just be a variation made by GHE as a replacement part, or the original version of the part? I really don't know. |
