I'm on a motorcycle forum and they have this which I thought would be cool to do on such a large reaching (the world) forum.
The idea is to post a picture of your VW next to whatever the challenge is. First one that completes the challenge and posts the pic then chooses the next challenge. If after a week or so the challenge is not met then a new one will take its place. I'm not on here as much as others, nor am I an admin, so as a group we can figure it out.
At the end of each post, whether you post a pic or are just adding comments, you write what the current challenge is so that way no one has to go back and figure out what it is.
So to start it out with an example:
Your VW next to (YVWNT) a military vehicle
Update:
Thought it would be a good idea to have a list to reference so we know whats already been done and also some of the guidelines.
o HAVE FUN!!!
o The point of the game is to get out and drive so most of the challenges should be something you might have to drive to get completed. Doesnt neccessarily have to be though. ie your vw with your dog/pet in it.
o If a challenge has was previously not completed, it can be completed and posted at any time, however you will not be able to come up with the new challenge.
o Once a new challenge is up try not to use old photos to complete. Go out there and drive! Not saying you cant use old photos but lets not make it a habit.
o After 50 challenges a challenge may be repeated but the same photo may not be used if completed by the same person.
o Challenges do not have to be VW related and are not limited to specific VW vehicles. Some of us also have newer VW's and some of the challenges might be hard for some people ACVW to complete so using your watercolled VW is ok.
o If you are just making a post or comment and not completeing the challenge; list the current challenge at the end of your comment that way no one has to scroll through to figure out what current post is.

Hope you all get the idea and have fun hunting for the next challenge. They can be easy or hard.
NEXT: Your vw next to a historical landmark.
Doesn't have to be a really super crazy one. It can also be just a historical marker, or anything in your town/city that's a landmark for that area. _________________ 1964 Beetle

It would be kind of hard to to get a pic of your vw next to something small enough to put on the dash. Needs to be something big enough to park next to or in front of. So on that note lets change it to something else. Last person to complete challenge, do you have some other idea? If not we can go with this:
NEXT: YVWNT a fire station. _________________ 1964 Beetle

I think what he meant was something you might set on the dash itself... like a small troll doll, tiki statue or other odd tiny knick-knack... or something hanging from the rear view mirror... pretty simple i would think...
(If I had in my windshield in or my rear view screwed on I'd go re-hang my QR Tri-ryche talisman and then remain there until the end of eternity and snap a pic) _________________ ::: Slowoval ::: LaDawri Sebring ::: '61 Creampuff ::: Dust Storm '66 ::: |

A good rule also is to post the most current challenge at the end of your post, After a few people make comments you have to search around for it.
Current challenge "A pic taken with A jet fighter plane" _________________ Schrodinger's cat walked into a bar and it didn't.

I love that Corsair, I used to watch that series "Black Sheep Squadron" as a kid.

With a locomotive, not next to? Does this count?

There's a bus in the mirror... (Our fighter was a row over and to the right...) So you get to set the next challenge. |

How did I miss this photo?! My dad flew Corsairs in WWII. I now drive his new-from-the-dealer '71 Fastback. |
