Hey guys. As runner up of the last challenge I’ve been asked to post the next. So...
YVW on the main drag in your town with something unique tied to the top. The crazier the better!! _________________ 1968 beetle 1500 "Penelope”

Perhaps it deserves multiple submissions before declaring a winner for the MOST unusual??????
I'm interested in seeing a lot of these. |

No, this will start confusing things & someone might get butthurt. The first to complete the challenge gets to pick the next challenge. However, others may submit their pics for the fun of it.
CURRENT CHALLENGE: YVW on the main drag of your town with something unique tied to the top. The crazier the better!! _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
GOFUNDYOURSELF, quit asking everyone to do it for you!
An air cooled VW will make you a hoarder.
Do something, anything, to your project every day, and you will eventually complete it. |

Without a roof rack, many of us would not tie anything to the roof of our little jewels. That may be limiting the response.
Plus, in the 'burbs, there sometimes isn't a "main drag" but a matrix of streets.
Those are my reasons, anyway. |

Kinda my thought. The “main drag” here is a 6 lane road that’s a zoo most days. _________________ 1960 Indigo Blue Ragtop (Blue Barry)

If a challenge hasn't been completed, renewing it probably isn't going to help it along. Why not come up with something else? Driving an old VW is a gamble unto it's own. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

I know a couple of local hospitals that would qualify. _________________ “If you care for a thing long enough, it takes on a life of its own, doesn't it? Mending old things, preserving them, looking after them – on some level there's no rational grounds for it.”

My sister-in-law's kitchen!!!!
Her cooking is so bad, people pray AFTER they eat!!! She lost the recipes for both ice and toast.
She made meatloaf once that you had to spoon out into a bowl. More like meat pudding. No matter how long you nuked it, baked it, or fried it the stuff was still mushy. |
