Geez, did I kill the thread with the "neon lights in the dark" thing? We've got plenty of neon light places around here...I guess not everyone has that kind of stuff handy.
You want me to post a picture tomorrow evening for inspiration? It'll just give me an excuse to go to a nudie bar. |

Hmm.. our bus is just a rolling shell at the moment...
But i took this picture back in December 2017 to promote my blog..
Does it count although there are no neon lights? 
I thought i'd give it a try and post it. 
Back then this was with a dull paint respray - so i can't show anything reflecting in the color either..

We appreciate your enthusiasm & the desire to move the thread along but the idea is to get people out in their VWs & complete the challenges as opposed to digging through archived photos. I would love to see your bus complete some of the challenges.
Current challenge: Your VW at night with Neon lights/sign reflecting/shining color in or on the paint.

Is it really that difficult to find one? You guys were more patient for the neon pic & one of the times hitest started whining about not being able to complete a CHALLENGE yielded one of the best pics in the thread.

Well, that certainly looks like a merry-go-round or carousel". There were no specifics stated, such as "life-size, operational, in motion being ridden, etc" so my opinion would be it meets the challenge...and my opinion and a dollar will get you a senior coffee at McDonalds.
As for the April showers, wish I had seen that posted before I drove my 62 to the store last night. Got caught in a downpour!!! Those poor little wipers were useless. |
