Off by one challenge !! My 1971 Westphalia parked between a tent trailer and a mobile trailer - circa 1982
NEW CHALLENGE: your VW next to a group of at least 3 portable outhouses. |
I tried getting rid of the vertical bars and some color tint. It's a nice photo.

Thanks KTPhil !! I took the photo with my trusty Pentax SLR almost 40 years ago. The almost 15-year old scanner I have could definitely be updated, replaced for one of higher quality. The tent-trailer and mobile trailer have been replaced with a cabin.....but I still have the 71 VW Bus !!
Next up Your VW...up to TDCTDI ?? |

In 2019 I got into film photography and bought a Pentax K1000 for just $15 because the wire to the light meter had corroded--just a bit of work later, and the K1000 works almost perfectly, except on really, really cold days. I'm constantly blown away by how nicely it takes pictures for being such an old camera.
I definitely plan to use it for photo shoots once I get my Super back on the road. _________________ 1973 Super Beetle

I'm coming in stone cold, so I don't know any background in this thread
But, I've found that modern smart phones have fantastic cameras (better than my $500 Nikon), and that I can take pictures of old photographs and they come out as good or better than scanned photos.
So, I don't know if the lines are in the native photo or a result of scanning, but laypeople can't tell the difference if I prep and get the light (free of glare) just right when shooting an old photo. |

Dang it----I'm always too late. This afternoon I was trying to decide where to go
and I could have just gone 40 miles down the road from home.

I’m shutting this down
Your VW next to an African and Asian elephant holding a Coconut on a line strung between them
You can have swallows perched on the line for extra points _________________ .ssS! |
