does anyone know of a good shop that work on 1990 camper near dayton ohio?
need a front end alignment/etc.

There are a few shops here in Columbus that I can recommend and also a couple to tell you to stay away from if you are interested. Please send me a PM if you're interested in bringing your van over here for service.

Same re: Cincinnati. There are a few places on the north side of 275 with vanagon experience, Mr. Mechanic in Westchester for one. PM me if you want more info.

I wouldn't think you'd need to travel to get it aligned though. Any shop can do that. I've never had trouble even getting firestone or whomever to do the alignment. Even things like ball joints or tie rods aren't much different from "regular" cars.

You could check with Larry's Offroad or Drews Offroad and see who they recommend. You aren't going to find a vintage VW only shop though, I suspect.
Just not enough work left to support that.
