won't post a link because that will get the thread shut down. owner does not have a clue what year it is, he just wants it out of his yard.
dent here and there, no visible rust. no title.

Maybe not 500 but probably more than 200. It looks pretty straight. _________________ '03 MV |

Any interior pics?
If it were a roller, $500 might not be out of line. but without that front beam there is a ton of work just to get it out of there. $200/scrap price is likely fair, especially without a title. _________________ nothing |

Id take it. AND I have a front beam to go under it already. I'd roll up, bolt my beam and wheels up and be gone. Lemme know if you pass. _________________ MAKE FORUMS GREAT AGAIN

I got it today for a bit less than advertised, turns out I know some people where its parked. I will bring an axle and a Bus towbar so it can get down the 4wd road and up on the trailer. It will be yet another "famous Taos Bus". I will provide pics of the extraction next week...stay tuned _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |

68 or 69. Need to see the front door handles or wiper pivots or front door interior shot or speedo/odo to be sure. OR the VIN# plate. _________________ nothing |

It's funny to hear responses like $200 or less than $500. When people spend mucho thousands to do a total junker rust bucket. And then all they have is a patched up bus. _________________ 71 Superbug

Dry buses are still available. With the work necessary to get this one out, the under $500 estimate in the region where the bus sits is reasonable. That same bus in the same situation in FL or CT would be a whole different estimate.
I know of a very nice Lotus white 68 in a barn in MN that will likely cost a couple of grand when the guy is ready to sell. If it were in the southeast, it would likely be double that. If it were here, or in some other dry northwest town, it might be half that.

Cdennisg has it right, it is all about location. Besides the no title part I'd have gladly given $500 for that fine specimen... |

I think it is very cool that folks save buses, that one looks fun to me and worth a few bucks. I may save one today, gonna go look at some. _________________ 1971 Deluxe Sunroof Bay 1905 stroker, dual idf40's, 74mm Scat forged crank, engle 110 cam.
