I'm guessing that somewhere there are exploded parts diagrams for Ghia sections?

I was just looking at the loose steering column yesterday and was curious about parts to make it new again and karmannghia.com has many parts for the columns (bushings, bearings, etc.) but wanted to look at an exploded view. Any good sites?

If you find some, please post them! I've wanted exploded diagrams since I got my coupe two years ago.

http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/manuals/1960_karmann_ghia_workshop_manual.php

It's a '60 Body Parts Manual but relevant to all models. Every owner should download this manual.

Here is the site I use, and I've also bought parts from him. If it isn't listed here, you would need to find it used.

Please note that a lot of the parts, save for hardware, are not available directly from VW anymore. Maybe these can help you out in some way.

Volkswagen equipped its dealer workshops with Parts Manuals for the cars, complete with nice exploded diagrams of certain assemblies and subassemblies peculiar to the KG. These also list specs for the fasteners, and parts numbers - quite useful. KGPR and others have used these diagrams in their catalogues.

If you can find a later version of one of these, it should cover all you need to know. I have the 1958 version (only covering earlier Lowlights, of course), and a 1974 version (covering all Type 14's), but I have no interest in scanning or posting them, sorry. But perhaps someone out there already has?
