Im thinking there's a gap on this forum for a Barndoor picture thread.
>For posting up your odds & sods Barndoor pics (we must all have a few)
>For pics that are worth more than just putting into the Gallery - hence allowing people to comment - but not necessarily worth creating a bespoke new thread for
Vintage Pictures still to go to the Barndoor Junkie thread:
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=109148
The Neue Barndoor is a good start
Looks great on its new earlies (I just hope they're originals)
A predictable look to some, but oh so timeless

That thing actually came to a SOTO meet in Garden Grove back in about 1986. The consensus was it was too much work to revert to original back then. I also saw it driving on the 22 freeway a few times. _________________ Enjoying Type IIs since 1979.

Decided to combine 2 hobbies and created this display in my '54 for the Kelley Park Show in 2006, the SoCal Vintage Treffen in '09 and '11, and the Madera Spring Fling in 2012. Drew a lot of kids (young & old) wanting to run trains....

The first thing to do when a bus breaks down? Remove the center seat. That will give access to all of the critical systems. _________________ Jack Staggs
