I found this 36hp smoker motor with this header attached, & ended up selling the motor and keeping the header. I see it says VWc1 on one of cast ends. Want to make sure it is correct for the 36hp or probably a 40hp?

Anyone have old cyclone catalog or brochure? Want to look into it

I noticed that too but it doesn’t give much information except for other header model # and design. I’m hoping to see some sort of catalog that can signify what vwc1 model was intended for- perhaps a 36hp application or 40hp, etc

Check the heat riser bolt hole pattern orientation. 36hp is clocked different than a 40hp/15/1600 based motor. The 36hp headers that were available from treuhaft etc had a hole on one side, with a slot on the other to accommodate both the 36hp vs 1200 40hp intakes.

Mount up a stock 36hp intake and see if the m6 holes line up. That would be quick and easy.

I have just the collector piece on my shelf the same as yours with VWC1 cast into it. it looks like 1" 3/8" primaries with a 1 1/2" outlet for the glasspack. I was goint to use it to make a custom header at some point for my 36er.
