Does anybody know when the Deluxe steering wheel changed over from the 3-spoke white 'Deluxe' wheel to the 2-spoke Batwing type (I believe it was January '50)?
From the introduction of the batwing steering wheel, was it available from the start in both ivory and beige depending on the colour of the car?

To my understanding the ivory three spokes where just used for a really short period in the beginning of the deluxe models. Probably because the batwings where not yet produced in time for the deluxe models and they had to fill the gap.
About just june and maybe early july of 1949. Then soon just the batwing was used. Clearly way before jan 1050.
