Seems Kal Tire is back to stocking 14" BFG All Terrains in Canada ! A few years back i tried all over the country but nothing ( so went with the Hankook RA08 ) - Very Happy to have purchased these 8pyl beauties for my 90' ....

Money well spent! I'm so glad we went with the BFG's. The van feels so solid now when we're loaded with camping gear. Also, no more white knuckles when it's windy. Staying in your own lane is much easier. Shocked

They look great. Any big downsides? Road noise?

How about Gas Mileage? Any noticeable increase?

Cheers

Louder at highway speeds yes, but more stable so i figured thats a very fair trade ...., i'm also driving fire roads for stealth camping/ fishing so the extra traction / puncture protection was a huge factor......

I usually have Johnny Cash cranked so loud it doesn't matter how much noise a tire makes anyway ! Very Happy

As far as the noise factor, I would describe the change as minor. They feel so steady and it handles so much better it's not an issue. I'm running 45 in the front and 50 in the rear. Seems to be just about right. I wish we'd done this sooner.

Yes Kaltire has BFG's and Canadian tire has them on their site as well. They are not cheap though. On a side note Yokohamas get a real whine to them on pavement as the wear. Bought a set of Hercules Power 195 R 14 for my next set once the yokohamas wear out....they look quieter...here's hoping...and much cheaper.
