Side curtain interchange

When I purchased my vehicle it came with four side curtains : two for the driver front, one for the passenger front, and one for the passenger rear.

Being a bit familiar with Teutonic engineering, I wondered if I could rotate the side curtains as one would do with tires.

Sure enough, the driver front curtain dropped into the passenger rear door, and the passenger front curtain dropped into the driver rear door with no problems, and even aligned with the roof.

I then compared the 'spare' driver front curtain to the others that I have, and it appears that if I drilled out of the rivets for the spare frame, I might be able to get the driver rear pins from the Thing Shop, and have a drivers rear curtain.

Not wanting to bugger up my spare driver side curtain, would anyone by chance have either a driver rear curtain, or a passenger front curtain, that they would like to sell? I checked the Samba classified ad's, and none appear to be for sale.

As an aside, long term goal is to replace my roof and side curtains with what the Thing Shop has for sale.
